What lovely writing and what a lovely tribute to the light that Dad had in him. We know him to be so truly remarkable in his fight against his cancer and his ability to keep his positive attitude throughout until the final minutes. It made me think of dad and our last Christmas together. We had the whole family together. Dad kept saying it was the best Christmas ever. I was still assigned to the Santiago fire incident when I received the announcement Ray had passed on. His last day here on this earth, was Nov. 5th. Tomorrow (Nov. 12th), is the memorial service. I will forward the link to the family as they will all be with Nancy (Ray's wife). How timely!!!! Unbelievable -- the tribute to our beloved brother Ray.
