Speaking Success Series for Women in Business

Tuesday, March 16, 2009 Debra Simpson interviewed two nationally recognized performance experts on her show "Syndicating Your Content"  — Joni Wilson and Sheryl Roush.

Joni Wilson is an internationally recognized voice expert, professional speaker, and best selling author with over 20 years experience of training voices. Her extensive background includes being a professional singer and entertainer, a TV talk show host, stand-up comedy, the opening act for Elvis (the real one), and owned and operated her own dinner theater (and trained the actors). Joni has personally trained both speaking and singing voice’s including business executives from major corporations—and even an American Idol finalist. Joni is also the creator of the 3-Dimensional Voice® Training System: A cutting-edge voice method so effective it is changing the lives of speakers, entertainers and business professionals all over the world. 

Sheryl Roush is a conference keynote speaker, an internationally top-rated trainer, and speaking coach. Her extensive background includes nearly 3,000 presentations in nine countries. She was only the 3rd woman in 93 countries and out of 4 million people to receive the Accredited Speaker designation for speaking from Toastmasters International. She has presented on programs alongside celebrities including Olivia Newton-John, Geena Davis, Joan Lunden and Suze Orman. Sheryl has coached executives, sales teams, Olympians and the San Diego Charger Cheerleaders.

Both are long-time Professional Members of the National Speakers Association, and collectively have over 70 years of experience.

Seeing a huge need right now for more effective communication and presentation skills, the two ladies have created a 5-week series held in San Diego, beginning April 1st.

As women step-up to take their places in today’s changing job market, it is vital that women have strong business and communication skills. Classes are facilitated in a supportive workshop-style with easy-to-do-“how-to’s” for immediate application.  Participants who have a deadline, specific challenge or project are welcome to bring it – get coaching targeted to your needs. Classes build on one another, basic to more advanced skills, for accelerated growth and improvements you can feel!

Series dates are Wednesdays: April 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
